It is a great pleasure to announce that our visitor Prof. Dr. Brendon Larson from the University of Waterloo, Canada, will give a talk in our research seminar:

Despair, Hope, and Conservation Science in the Anthropocene

Brendon is a professor in the School of Environment, Resources and Sustainability, University of Waterloo. His research addresses social dimensions of biodiversity conservation with a focus on conservation options in the current era of global change. Brendon is currently visiting Jena as part of his sabbatical.
