Generating independent knowledge for a resilient future with China for Europe and its citizens

The Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC), whose preparation is led by our EC2U partner University the University of Turku, Finland, play a central role in ReConnect China’s dissemination approach. The courses are open to everyone who wants to understand China’s development and EU-China relations. In particular, they are prepared for European students, but also civil servants, journalists, teachers and alike will benefit from taking them.

In a cross-cutting fashion, the MOOCs will refurbish the scientific and analytical outputs of the ReConnect project and prepare them as educational content suitable for integration into MOOC curricula.

More details:

Each of the courses is worth 3 ECTS credits which correspond with circa 80 hours of active learning. The courses consist of five to six thematic modules which are built upon short recorded expert lectures (ca 20 minutes), slideshows, reading materials and podcasts. Various automated assignments and exams complement the flexible learning process.

You can take the courses independently in the DigiCampus-learning environment without teacher’s supervision and complete the coursework in your own schedule.

Everyone who enrolls in a ReConnect MOOC course and passes the course may download an automatically created course certificate for free in the DigiCampus learning platform. The certificate can be verified with a code.
