When evaluating research proposals, funding bodies are increasingly looking at whether the relevance of gender and diversity has been taken into account in the design of the research project. During the session, we will briefly report on the current status of the discussion on gender and gender-sensitive research and present the current DFG and EU review criteria.
Furthermore, researchers will report on how research can be planned in a gender- and gender-sensitive way. We will open the floor to discuss with you how you can incorporate these aspects into your research.

Scope
Gender aspects in research - what exactly does that mean? This is not about the classic equality issues and gender balance in a subject area, but in fact about the relevance of sex/gender in research content. This has long been an issue in medical research, but there are many other examples. If you would like to know more about this, this video is very helpful: Understanding gender dimension for MSCA projects https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hq4eWo30RfYExterner Link
