Meine erste Eindrücke...

Es ist wahr: Der Sommer in Córdoba ist so heiß wie in den Erzählungen... noch nie habe ich so hohe Temperaturen erlebt - jedoch bedeutet das nicht, dass man die faszinierenden Ecken Córdobas nicht erkunden kann. Die Mezquita ist sowohl von Außen als auch von Innen beeindruckend, die Patios sehr charmant und die zahlreichen Straßen perfekt für Photos gemacht. Es gibt ohne Zweifel noch so viel zu entdecken in dieser Stadt... ebenso werde ich demnächst ganz viele neue Leute kennenlernen (von meiner Mitbewohnerin aus Schweden zu meinen Unileuten nächste Woche)! Zudem will ich ganz viele spanische Gerichte weiter ausprobieren, wie die Tortillas, Patatas Bravas und den berühmten Salmorejo Córdobes.

It's true: summer in Córdoba is as hot as in the stories... never have I ever experienced such high temperatures before - still, this does not mean that exploring the fascinating corners of Córdoba is not possible. The mosque is breathtaking both from the outside and the inside, the patios are quite charming and the streets are perfect for taking pictures. Without a doubt, there is yet a lot to discover in this city... also, I am about to start meeting people (from my roomate who is arriving tomorrow from Sweden to all my university budies next week)! More than that I am excited to keep on trying out more traditional Spanish dishes like tortillas, patatas bravas and the famous salmorejo córdobes.
