Registration (Immatrikulation)

To study, you must be registered.

What to do:

• contact the responsible offices: 
  
  
  • International Office (e.g. Ms. Mahlogonolo Mphahlele)
  • Faculty Department (e.g. Law - Mr. Kgloane Makua)

• ask for a UP online Student Centre login information (your student number and a password)
  
  
  • provide a copy of your passport
  • provide year of your studies
  • provide other info as requested by the competent person, e. g. Confirmation letter from the FSU

• apply online
  
  
  • use the online portal at www.up.ac.zaExterner Link to log in
  • go to "Student Centre"
  • follow the steps as referred to in the Online Registration GuidelinesExterner Link
    
    
• after admission
  
  
  • choose your modules from the University of Pretoria's YearbooksExterner Link for the intended semester(s)
  • contact the responsible person - at your faculty
  • let them know the module codes, e.g. EIL 420 etc. for which you wish to register
    
    
• after registration
  
  
  • print the proof of registration in the Student Centre after you log in online
  • attach it in your further communication with, e.g. the Internationales Büro of the FSU
  • enjoy your studies :-)
