Declaration of Principles on Sustainability

In order to fulfill its responsibility for future generations and to contribute to a transformation towards a sustainable society, the Senate adopted a Declaration of Principles on Sustainabilitypdf, 140 kb · de for the University of Jena in November 2021.

The guideline contains goals for the areas of action research, teaching, operations, transfer and governance, which are intended to serve as orientation for future action. In order to concretize the goals, all university members are called upon to participate in the creation of a sustainability strategy. More information will follow at the beginning of the summer semester.
