The critical examination of existing processes at the University of Jena and their further development is becoming increasingly important: process descriptions with transparent decision-making channels and clear procedures, tasks and responsibilities are required. This should provide employees with orientation and, above all, security in their daily work and lead to a reduction in workload in terms of the health-promoting design of work processes. In addition, documented processes or workflows facilitate the familiarisation of new employees and contribute to knowledge retention in terms of knowledge management.
Support services
In cooperation with the contact persons for process management de at the University of Jena, occupational health management supports the analysis, further development and mapping of processes.
What is important for reducing workloads?
- Transparent processes, ideally mapped in process descriptions
- Standardisation of suitable processes or sub-processes
- Identification of interfaces; avoidance of duplication/diversions
- Clarity regarding tasks, competences, responsibilities, authority to issue instructions
We offer the following support to facility|institutions|(structural) units and managers:
- Support with the creation of process descriptions
- Analysis of existing processes: Identification of opportunities for improvement
- Standardisation of processes
- Accompanying changes - from ACTUAL to TARGET: analysing the ACTUAL process, defining goals and describing the new TARGET process
Workshop offer
We also offer workshops with those involved in the process, e.g. to analyse, further develop or standardise processes.
The workshops are of course customised to your specific requirements. Your objectives are discussed in detailed preliminary talks and all those involved in the process are identified so that, for example, a workshop can then take place in a targeted manner with all the necessary participants.
