EC2U Forum in Iaşi:
The call for student applications is open!

Apply for a 5-day travel grant to Iaşi! What we are looking for is your engagement in building a European Alliance and your readiness for an intercultural adventure together with students from across Europe.

The 5th EC2U Forum will take place from 10-13 October 2022. Students, teachers, researchers, administrators from all seven EC2U Universities and representatives of the seven cities will come together to continue the ongoing work of building the alliance.

Students at the EC2U Forum will actively participate together with researchers, teachers and administrators from all 7 universities and cities in the various sessions and will create and lead a session with their European peers. Cultural events and some sporting activities especially for students are also on the program. If it sounds broad, that’s because it is. EC2U is an alliance that strengthens the bond between the partner institutions through cooperation on many levels and in many fields, both in and beyond the university. Be a part of it!

5 Student travel grants available!

Apply now! Students enrolled at the University of Jena are welcome to apply for one of five Erasmus+ Short Mobility Grants for travel to and a 4-day, 5-night stay in Iaşi.

Who: Bachelor and Master students of all disciplines

What: Participation in EC2U Forum events and a short experience report upon return

Where: Iaşi, Romania. The organizers in Iaşi will reserve student accommodations, but selected students will be responsible for making all their own travel arrangements.

When: Arrival 09 October 2022; Program 10 – 13 October 2022; Departure 14 October 2022. (total 5 days Mobility)

How much: 1050€ per mobility grant (400€ Transport, 5 days x 130€/day for accommodation and meals)

How: Apply by sending a letter of motivation by 14 July 2022 to ec2u@uni-jena.de. The letter should be in English and include the following information:

Field of Study
Current Semester and study cycle (Bachelor’s, Master’s, Lehramt)
Tell us about your motivation to participate in the EC2U Forum and how you can contribute.
Give us your perspective on the importance of student engagement and tell us about your experiences.

Selected grantees will be notified 22 July 2022.
