General events at the beginning of your studies

We look forward to welcoming you to the University of Jena. For all new students, the Orientation Days always take place before the start of the lectures to make it easier for you to get started. For the winter semester 2024/25 these will take place from 1 to 11 October 2024. You will receive general and subject-specific information on the organization of your studies and you can make yourself familiar with offers and facilities of the University, and get insider knowledge from advanced fellow students in your subject.

In addition, students are very welcome to take part in the workshops in the introductory phase, which are offered as accompanying events during the first year of study.
