What we do
The Office for Strategic Projects manages projects on current topics that are initiated by the Executive Board of the University of Jena. In their layout, these projects cover multiple fields of activity, are interdepartmental and often involve external partners. The office answers directly to the President.
Current projects:
Coordinate the university’s activities in the federal-state program of the Excellence StrategyExternal link (funding line II, Excellence University)
Coordinate the activities between the Exceutive Board of the university and the external scientific advisory boards of each faculty
How we work
The Office for Strategic Projects clusters information on the strategic development of the university and makes it available to the Exceutive Board or other units of the university. It coordinates projects and events. It develops project-related programs and measures, and cooperates with various units of the university. It provides a platform for those units involved in strategy development.
