Researching and teaching together, exchanging ideas and shaping the Europe of tomorrow -
that's EC2UExternal link: an alliance of eight European universities from eight countries. From 22-24 October 2024, students and staff from these eight partners will come together in Linz, Austria, to take a look ahead. Be part of it!
We are looking for interested students from all faculties and semesters who would like to meet people with similar interests from all over Europe, discuss with them, do sports, discover the city and establish contacts. At the same time, you will be helping to shape the future of Europe: EC2U invites you to bring your perspectives, insights and ideas to the Alliance during the "Student Challenge".
Another very special highlight will be the EC2U Science Contest on 23 October.

Who? Bachelor's and Master's students from all subject areas and teaching
Selection criteria:
Enrolled at an EC2U university in WS 2024/25
English language skills: B2 (at least)
Multi-/intercultural mindset
Curiosity/understanding of current issues of sustainability and conflict resolution
Interest in European exchange and social development
What? Participation in the EC2U Forum with events, workshops, sports and leisure activities. Preparation of a short report afterwards. The programme will be published soon.
When? 22-24 October 2024 (arrival on 21 October, departure on 25 October 2024)
Where? Linz, Austria. More details will follow in July.
What amount? 1.265 € per scholarship
How to apply? Apply by 31 July 2024 with a letter of motivation by email to ec2u@uni-jena.de. The letter should be in English, no longer than one A4 page, and contain the following information:
Field of study
Current semester and stage of study (Bachelor's, Master's, teaching degree)
Describe your motivation and what you would like to contribute to the forum: What does student engagement mean to you? Why is it important and what experiences have you already had?
