ERDF funding: Storage infrastructure

With ERDF funds allocated to the project "Expansion and renewal of storage infrastructure" in June 2018, the Hyper-V virtualisation cluster was expanded with fast infrastructure components (100 GBit switch technology) and hard drives. The procurement phase followed and was completed in September 2018. After installing and testing the procured components, the expansion of the Hyper-V environment went live. This led to fundamental improvements in the provision of services such as Oracle databases and the Friedolin campus management system.
