Friedrich Schiller University Jena awards scholarships for people who have fled Ukraine and want to start or continue their doctorate in Jena. The scholarships are endowed with 1,200 euros per month and are awarded for a maximum of 24 months. Participation in German courses is funded with up to 200 euros per year. The scholarships are awarded as part of the programme "Future Ukraine – Scholarship Program for Refugees from Ukraine at German Universities"External link of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). The programme is funded by the German Federal Foreign Office.
