The University of Pavia, within the European alliance EC2U - European Campus of City-Universities, will host from 6 to 8 June 2023, the PhD intensive programme on "Machine learning technique & text processing tools applied to the study of linguistic diversity & cultural perceptions".
The course, organized in collaboration with the University of Poitiers and the University of Turku, within the virtual institute for Quality Education, will take place in the historic setting of the University of Pavia, and includes lectures and workshops on digital linguistics machine learning , text processing tools and translation technologies. There will also be cultural and social activities with other EC2U students and with the community of the University of Pavia.
Professors and PhD students enrolled at one of the universities of the EC2U Alliance can send applications.
3 students and 1 professor will be selected for each university of the Alliance, and will receive a travel grant from EC2U.
