SAVE THE DATE! "Naturally intelligent! Teaching and Learning with AI"

The expert panel of the Academy for Teaching Development cordially invites all lectureres and students to the "DIES LEGENDI - Day of Teaching".

This year's motto "Naturally intelligent! Teaching and Learning with AI" addresses the highly topical issue of dealing with AI in teaching and studying. The keynote speech by Dr. Peter Salden (RU Bochum) "AI in higher education: an assessment between ignorance, utopia and dystopia" and the subsequent thematic workshops will focus on various aspects of the topic and offer the opportunity to exchange ideas.

In addition to the thematic focus, this year's teaching prizes will be ceremonially awarded and current teaching projects will be presented in a poster session.

We are particularly pleased to welcome the Thuringian State Secretary for Economics, Higher Education, Tourism and Digital Affairs, Mr Carsten Feller, as a guest. Mr Feller will give the welcoming address at the event, thus underlining the relevance of this year's topic.

Why participate? 
The DIES LEGENDI - Teaching Day offers a unique opportunity to exchange ideas with other teachers and students about current developments in the field of AI in higher education, to explore perspectives, to get inspiration for teaching in one's own department and thus to further advance teaching at our university together.

And to ensure that all teachers and students have the opportunity to take part in DIES LEGENDI - Teaching Day, all regular courses will be cancelled for the duration of the event (dies academicus).
