You will receive a certificate of participation for attending the seminar, which can be credited towards the China Competence Certificate with 4 units in Basic Module 3, Strategic Competencies.

The workshop serves to provide an overview of the structural conditions of Chinese law and its practice that are relevant for research and university cooperation with Chinese partners. Specific topics will include the Chinese hierarchy of norms, the judicial system, data protection law and anti-espionage law.

About the speaker:
Dr. Daniel Sprick is a research assistant at the Chair of Chinese Legal Culture at the University of Cologne, where he teaches a series of courses on Chinese legal history and Chinese economic and commercial law.
