Executive Board
of the Friedrich Schiller University
The Executive Board administrates the university. It consists of the President of the University and the Head of Administration and Finance, the Vice-President for Learning and Teaching, the Vice-President for Research and Innovation as well as the Vice-President for University Community and Engagement.
The President chairs the Executive Board and sets the guidelines for the Executive Board. The Vice-Presidents perform the tasks in their areas of responsibility on their own authority. The Head of Administration and Finance is in charge of the budget and directs the administration. The Chief Communications Officer (CCO), as permanent guest, combines strategic steering with strategic science communication.
