Anja Siegesmund
Image: Wikipedia/Sandro HalankThe network of and for women in leadership positions, Frauen.Macht.FührungExternal link, will be talking to us and Anja Siegesmund, former Thuringian Environment Minister and manager in a large business association, about the question of how much support women still need today on their way to leadership positions - and what a strong (female) network can do to achieve this. Anja Siegesmund will be speaking exclusively to Frauen.Macht.Führung for this event and will be sharing stages and decisions in her career with the audience.
The event is aimed at advanced female doctoral candidates, postdocs, research and junior research group leaders or tenure-track or junior professors who are active as female managers in the scientific working environment or are preparing for a leadership role. The aim of this evening is not just to give a lecture, but to engage in an open exchange of experiences and existing questions about female careers and solidarity in the academic system. The official part of the evening will last from 19:00 - 20:30.
If you are interested, please register by 29 April via the link below.
The event language is German, however, if you wish to take part even though you are not a native speaker, and require English translation, please let us know.
We look forward to your participation!
