The Foundation for Innovation in University Teaching has launched the programme line "Teaching Architecture. Shaping the university of the future" programme. The aim of this programme is to strategically and structurally strengthen universities in terms of teaching and learning, particularly in light of current challenges in the field of university teaching (see current external calls for proposals: www.uni-jena.de/ale-ausschreibungen-lehre-extern de).
The university management has decided to submit an application; the application deadline ends in October 2024. The process of concretising the project proposal is currently underway, including in the expert committee of the Academy for Teaching Development (ALe). Overall, the application process is being coordinated by the ALe office. In addition to an individual application, which the Friedrich Schiller University Jena will submit, it is also possible to participate in a joint project with another university. The approval of the university management is required for such a joint application.
