Workshop program

On May 30, a workshop on building insect hotels and nesting boxes will take place on the grounds of the Jena City Forestmanagement on Schottplatz (forum natura).

The event starts at 3:30 pm with exciting information on the topic of species extinction. We will then look at what to look out for when building insect hotels and nesting boxes and which species can be supported and how.

The construction phase will then start at 4:30 p.m., during which small groups can build their own nesting boxes and/or insect hotels. Materials and tools will be provided on site. A buffet will be organized, so please bring something to share.

The event is open to all age groups. Pre-registration by 27.05. by e-mail to umwelt@stura.uni-jena.de
