Objective
One of the tasks of the LIGHT profile is to ensure the university’s scientific renewability, which is closely linked to the integration of new young academics. LIGHT therefore supports the interfaculty profiling in teaching to strengthen the combination of research and teaching in the field of LIGHT’s main research areas. This funding line intends to counteract the lack of highly qualified academics in the LIGHT profile and the region.
Funding content
LIGHT researchers can apply for funding to support interfaculty initiatives for the qualification of young academics and outreach. This includes, for example, support for the establishment of interfaculty study programs, the promotion of new outreach programs, course and competition formats (not just individual events) or the promotion of recruiting events to attract young academics.
Funding amount
Up to 3,000 €.
