8th Call for Participation in the Mentoring Programme for Female Postdocs of the University Association Halle-Jena-Leipzig

The Universities of Halle-Wittenberg, Jena, and Leipzig invite candidates to participate in the 8th round of of the jointly run Mentoring Programme for Female Postdocs.

The programme is tailored to the needs of female postdocs at Halle, Jena and Leipzig with more than two years of postdoctoral exerience who are aiming at a professorship. The programme aims at supporting participants with formal and informal career knowledge, competences and contacts.The core element is a one-to-one-mentoring by experienced professors of the partner universities. It is complemented by trainings on career-related skills and the opportunity to engage in an interdisciplinary peer-network. The period of participation is one year and may be extended for another year.

Up to now, the programme supported 120 participants of the various disciplines at the three universities. Now another 24 advanced female postdocs get the chance to join in.
