Mission statement of the University of Jena
Friedrich Schiller University is not only firmly committed to democracy in its mission statement, it is also part of the »Initiative Weltoffenes Thüringen«, which stands for diversity and human rights and against hatred and marginalization. Students are also expressly encouraged to stand up for democracy and open-mindedness in Thuringia by implementing their own projects at the University of Jena.
