With a scholarship to Taiwan

The Taiwanese Ministry of Education awards two different scholarships for German citizens:

• The Huayu Enrichment Scholarship is for Chinese language acquisition and is awarded for either 6 or 12 months.
• A scholarship in the Taiwan Scholarship Programme is awarded for a complete degree course (Bachelor's, Master's or PhD).

The DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) conducts the application and selection process for both scholarship programmes and accepts applications for the academic year 2025/26 until the end of September (probably until 26 September 2024). The application portal opens approx. 6 weeks in advance.
