What do Ambassadors do?
The roles of the Ambassadors is to advertise EC2U’s activities and objectives to local studentsand to exchange with them by:
- Creating content
- Becoming a point of contact for the students regarding EC2U
- Engaging social media to share EC2U activities
- Encouraging student participation in EC2U events
- Communicating about the Joint Masters Programmes
What are the advantages?
According to your university, here are examples of the benefits you can have as an EC2U Ambassador:
- Final Certificate
- Training from University staff
- Mobilities for visits at different EC2U universities or for EC2U events
- Networking, meeting students from the other Universities of the Alliance
- Skill development (oral and written communication in multiple languages, public speaking, social media, relationship building, creativity, etc.)
- International collaboration
What are the eligibility criteria?
To become an EC2U Ambassador, you need to meet the following criteria:
- Be enrolled as a student at either Bachelor, Master, or PhD level at one of the 8 universities of the EC2U alliance
- Be proficient in English and have a B2 level minimum; fluency in the local language of your university is a plus
- Be interested in EC2U
- Be interested in aspects of communication and be passionate about engaging with others
- Be proficient with Social media
- Have soft skills: interpersonal, teamwork, organisational, creativity, and initiative
- Follow local criteria
- Experience in EC2U Activities would be an advantage (additional)

Once selected you will have to participate in a mandatory training session in Poitiers (France) between the 19th and 21st of November 2024.
