This lecture will address the following questions:
- What are the challenges for bilateral academic relations between Germany and China in the age of de-risking?
- How has China competence been understood in the German higher education landscape so far?
- How should the concept of China competence be adapted to the new challenges?
The lecture will last about 45 to 60 minutes and will be followed by a discussion with the opportunity to ask questions. It will take place in the Unitersity's main building (Universitätshauptgebäude, UHG), lecture hall 024 (ground floor).
The lecture will be held in German.
