Conference funding program IMPULSEconferences
The aim of this program line is to intensify scientific exchange and to increase the visibility and scientific qualification of researchers at Friedrich Schiller University Jena. The IMPULSEconferences program provides material resources for participation in scientific conferences with their own specialist contribution. 

Eligibility to apply
Doctoral candidates (after completion of their studies) and postdocs of the university are invited to submit applications, provided they are not employed at non-university research institutions.

Type and scope of funding
Over a two-year period, material resources of up to1,000 can be provided per applicant. A maximum of one application can be submitted per year. The funds must be used in accordance with the budget guidelines of the Free State of Thuringia and the University of Jena.

Submission of applications
Applications must be submitted using the application form. A curriculum vitae and list of publications must be attached. Doctoral candidates require a letter of support from their supervisor. Confirmation of acceptance of the conference contribution must be enclosed.
