International student groups coming to Jena

Do you want to visit the University of Jena as a student group from abroad, funded by the German Academic Exchange ServiceExternal link (DAAD)? Thank you for your interest!

Please send us a message with answers to the following questions:

  1. When do you want to visit the University of Jena (DD/MM/YYYY - DD/MM/YYYY)?
  2. Which university do you come from (name, place, country)?
  3. What do you study (Bachelor/Master, academic fields)?
  4. Are you interested in visiting a specific faculty/institute or a sample lecture (please specify)?
  5. How many persons will be in your group (students, staff)?
  6. Which language do you prefer for communication (German/English)?
  7. Do you need an invitation letter for your home institution/visa/funding organisation?
  8. Who is the main person of contact (name, address, email, telephone number)?

Please write your answers to the International Office. We then send you a proposal for a visit.

Please also note:

  • Apply for funding at the German Academic Exchange ServiceExternal link (DAAD). 
  • You will have to cover all costs for your journey. 
  • Apply for visa, organize your travel and accommodation.
  • Please inform us about the DAAD decision.
  • Please also inform us if your planned visit cannot take place or has to be rescheduled.
