Your decentralized contact for equality

The Advisory Committee for Gender Equality is a body of the Friedrich-Schiller-University of Jena with advisory functions. It works towards the constitutionally required equal opportunities for women and men at the Friedrich-Schiller-University of Jena. The advisory committee consists of members of all faculties, the administration and the students. It is elected within the respective faculties parallel to the board elections of the university. The term of office for the members is three years, for the student representatives one year. The Advisory Committee is chaired by the University's Equal Opportunities Officers.

The Equal Opportunities Advisory Committee is the decentralized body for equal opportunity work and supports the Central Equal Opportunities Officers with its work in the departments and service units. The staff of the Equal Opportunities Office is also the interface between all bodies and is pleased to be of service to you!
