University remains part of the Thuringian sustainability network

Friedrich Schiller University remains a member of the NAThüringen network: On 17 October 2024, Franziska Neugebauer from the IHK Ostthüringen zu Gera presented President Prof. Dr Andreas Marx and Claudia Hilbert from the Green Office with the certificate of participation in the Thuringia Sustainability Agreement (NAThüringen). The University of Jena has been a member of the NAThüringen network since 2021. The second agreement now runs until 30 June 2027.

NAThüringenExternal link is a voluntary agreement between the state government and Thuringian partner institutions from business and science. It networks politics, administration and business, particularly on the topics of climate and environmental protection, resource conservation, energy efficiency and social sustainability.
