Tabular data is frequently used in science, administration, and industry. Often we use spreadsheets to work with those kinds of data. Howewer, it is not rare that we hit the limits of such tools — either due the size or complexity of the tables we work with, or due to the analyses we want to carry out.

Pandas is a powerful tool that can be used to manipulate and analyse tabular data in Python. The module provides us with fast, flexible, and easy-to-use data structures. Its extensive functionality for handling, cleaning, and visualizing large datasets makes it indispensable for scientists working with tabular data.
