Renew certificates by the end of 2024!
All certificates that expire in 2025 should be renewed this year.

The service provider Sectigo has cancelled the certificate contract with DFN, on the basis of which certificates can be issued at the university. The DFN is working intensively to enable a seamless transition. Nevertheless, it may happen that no certificates can be issued for an indefinite period of time.
If your personal certificate expires in June 2025, we ask you to renew your certificate this year. This applies to personal certificates (e.g. for signing emails) and group certificates.

For server certificates that expire in Q1/2025, we recommend that you also apply for them again in 2024 and then replace them.
