Teaching is one of the core tasks of Friedrich Schiller University Jena. Teaching is highlighted as an important area of strategic university development because of the adoption of the "Strategy Teaching". And indeed, there is a lot going on in teaching at the Friedrich Schiller University about which there is news to report and learn:

  •  In the interview (Lehre NACHGEFRAGT), Timur Kyashif from the Cardiac Surgery Enthusiasts Club at the UKJ answers five questions on the topic of communication as the centrepiece of university teaching.
  • The Dies Legendi took place in November 2024 under the motto ‘Let's communicate - discourse culture in courses’ and was once again very popular this year (Lehre IM DIALOG).
  • The University's 2024 teaching awards ceremony took place as part of the Dies Legendi (Lehre AUSGEZEICHNET).
  • The system accreditation of the University of Jena was successfully extended and the on-site discussions in the degree programme review at the Faculty of Medicine, the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Physics and Astronomy took place (Lehre DER ZUKUNFT).
  • The information pages on digital testing have been revised and the E-Learning Day 2025 is dedicated to the topic ‘Digital testing on new paths - visions and perspectives 2030’ (Lehre DIGITAL).
