Innovation with ArcGis Pro

Following the announcement of the end-of-life for "ArcGis Desktop" (network and single user licensing), the affected licences were not extended. For this reason, it is important for all users to switch to "ArcGis Pro" with NamedUser licensing from 01.02.2025.

Next steps

In the next few days, existing "ArcGis Desktop" users will receive a notification from the ArcGis online portal (Esri). Here you will be asked to register for a "ArcGis Pro"-NamedUser licence. Please carry this out.

In advance, users can already download and install "ArcGis Pro" via the following link:

Planned innovations

We are currently working on an SSO connection with Shibboleth to the ArcGis Online Portal so that users can register themselves in future. This connection is expected to be available at the end of Feb. 2025.
