Teaching is one of the core tasks of Friedrich Schiller University Jena. Teaching is highlighted as an important area of strategic university development because of the adoption of the "Strategy Teaching". And indeed, there is a lot going on in teaching at the Friedrich Schiller University about which there is news to report and learn:

  •  In the lead interview (Lehre NACHGEFRAGT), Dr Eva Domaros reports on her experiences with the higher education didactics training courses offered by the Servicestelle LehreLernen.
  • The on-site discussions in the degree programme review at the Departments of English/American Studies and Classical Studies at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities have taken place (Lehre IM DIALOG).
  • The Call for the University 2025 Teaching Prize is underway and teaching prizes were awarded to mid-level academic staff at the Faculty of Business, Economics and Informatics (Lehre AUSGEZEICHNET).
  • The SprachKult project is helping to open up language courses across the university and the The SprachKult project is helping to open up language courses across the university and the Servicestelle LehreLernen once again inviting lecturers to take part in an exciting mix of further training opportunities with their university didactics programme for the 2025 summer semester (Lehre DER ZUKUNFT).
  • Students have recently been given the opportunity to complete the genKI driving licence as part of a self-study course on the use of generative AI in studies (Lehre DIGITAL).
