In celebration of Europe Week, this workshop offers university staff the opportunity to enhance their intercultural skills and reflect on their role within Europe’s diverse academic landscape.
Key topics include:
- Raising awareness of Europe’s cultural and social diversity
- Reflecting on personal identity in the European context
- Enhancing awareness of European values and collaboration opportunities
- Developing practical skills for resolving intercultural conflicts
By the end of the workshop, participants will have strengthened their intercultural awareness, enhanced their collaboration skills, and developed practical conflict-resolution strategies. It is a unique opportunity to reflect upon your role in the European academic community and gain valuable skills to navigate and embrace diversity.
This workshop can be credited in the "iKompass" certificate program, the intercultural competency passport for employees of the University of Jena. This program helps university employees to overcome challenges that arise during international encounters.
