University of Jena participates in the Dance your PhD competition for the first time

For the first time, the Graduate Academy has submitted a video to the Dance your PhD competition! Dance Your PhD is an international competition for doctoral researchers and postdocs that asks them to present their doctoral thesis in a video using creative dance moves.

The Jena video visualises the dissertation of Jena doctoral candidate Priya Reddy. Her dissertation had been selected in an application process. She is conducting research in the area of plant immune responses at the Friedrich Schiller University Jena and the Max Planck Institute for Chemical Ecology.

The Dance your PhD competition is organised by one of the most important scientific journals (Science) and is highly regarded worldwide as a science communication competition.
