Role of the General Examinations Committee

The General Examinations Committee (APA) is a joint committee of the Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences, Faculty of Arts and Humanities and Faculty of Theology.

The Committee ensures:

  • compliance with the valid study and examination regulations and
  • proper conduct of examinations in these degree programmes: Bachelor of Arts, Magister Artium, Master of Art, and Teaching Qualification (“Lehramt”).

 It also decides on students’ request being part of appeal procedure.

Upcoming meetings, past decisions, and deadlines

At its meetings, the Committee considers the requests submitted and reaches decisions on a case-by-case basis. You will receive a written notification regarding the Committee's decision on your request or appeal, including the reason for the decision and information on legal remedies.
