Become a Go Abroad Ambassador

YOUR PROFILE

Will you go abroad in the winter and/or summer semester 2023/24 or do an internship abroad for at least two months? Would you enjoy writing about your everyday life, university life as well as about the country and its people? Would you like to pass on your experience and advice to other students of the University?

WHAT WE OFFER

Before your departure

• an online preparatory workshop about the University’s Go Abroad Ambassador programme
• online training on the content management system (CMS) of the University of Jena and activation of your blog on the website of the International Office

Back in Jena

• a half-day workshop about communication, pitches, and storytelling
• team work with like-minded students and the International Office
• a certificate for your volunteer commitment
• recognition of your commitment in the Career Planning CertificateExternal link programme
• notebook, USB stick, T-shirt featuring the University’s logo

Please note that you are required to take part in the online preparatory workshop and the online CMS training before going abroad.
