Phishing protection

This service is only available to employees, students and guests of the university.

Description

The Computer Center of the University of Jena offers a service for reporting suspicious phishing e-mails.

What is phishing? Phishing is the attempt to obtain passwords and/or personal information via fake emails and then misuse them for various purposes.

If you receive an email and recognize it as a scam or are unsure about a possible phishing attempt, you should not click on any links, open any attachments or reply to the email. By replying to phishing e-mails, you confirm the existence and activity of your e-mail account.

Always ask! Even with people you know and trust!

Reporting procedure:
In case of suspicion, forward such e-mails to phishing@uni-jena.de

An overview of Moodle courses, flyers and posters can be found on the Wiki page.
