According to various health insurance reports (see e.g. AOK Absenteeism Report 2019), the number of cases of incapacity for work and the associated duration of incapacity for work due to mental illness has been increasing throughout society for years.
For this reason, we would like to support employees and managers at the University of Jena in staying mentally healthy with the various preventive measures for mental health.

Mental health in the home office
Working from home is sometimes a great personal strain. Some try to manage the balancing act between family and work. Others are faced with the challenge of structuring their working day away from the office in a healthy way.
This can lead to uncertainty, loneliness and stress. These psychological strains can affect well-being and work performance/motivation and become a mental burden.
So take care of yourself! If you and/or people in your team need psychosocial support, there are a variety of support and counselling services available.
