Peer counselling
Peer councelling or collegial advisory consultations is a methodological tool that enables systematic counselling among colleagues. This method is used to reflect on specific professional challenges faced by an appointee within a group and to think through possible solutions and courses of action together. One group member at a time is advised by the other participants in the group according to a predefined structure.
Collegial advisory consultations thus enables a professional exchange at eye level, initiates reflection and learning processes for all participants and has a supportive effect for the person seeking advice.
