Programme content

Pull over, refuel and drive on. But stop! Why does a litre of diesel often cost less in the evening than it does in the morning? Similar things happen to exchange rates on holiday – you get considerably different value for money abroad from one day to the next.

If you study ‘Economics’, these are some of the macroeconomic relationships you will be examining as part of the ‘bigger picture’. In addition to the functions of economic systems and their analysis, you will also focus on topics such as national debt, inflation and economic growth. You will also learn about business administration and business information systems, enabling you to analyse overarching relationships.
