Career counselling for postdocs

The graduate academy is happy to advise you on all questions and concerns regarding your career planning. This may involve a career within academia as well as options in other professional fields. For example, the following topics can be addressed in a personal counselling session:

• Decision for or against a future career in academia
• Requirements, career paths and applications in academia
• Occupational fields outside of academia, job search and application

You can arrange a personal counselling appointment with Dr. Michael Wutzler. The Qualification Programme also offers a wide range of advanced training courses for your own career planning and a successful application.

The Graduate Academy is also supported by the Joachim Herz Foundation, for the project "Natural sciences in industry and society: contact, mentoring, communication and cooperation". It supports doctoral researchers from the disciplines of the natural sciences in their career planning with a comprehensive portfolio of offers.
